Brief description of the order
The Chlorine Soda plant at the multi-company site in Priolo Gargallo (SR) dates back to the 1950s and was used for the production of sodium or potassium chloride with the aim of making marketable products. The decommissioning project, inherent in the reclamation of the circuits and the mechanical, electro-instrumental, and civil demolitions, involved all the production departments of the plant; in particular, the design difficulty concerned the reclamation of the cell room, due to the discovery of mercury and the deterioration of the building in its current state.
